La Luz

Family vacation with mom, my 2 sister, Xian my nephew, my brother-in-law and our dog "pochi" in La Luz Batangas.

I admit this was the first beach I'd liked in bantagas and will come back soon for sure! 

Fantastic beach, quite private, good food, good service, tidy room and best of all the fishes, living breathing awesome creation.

Lets talk about travel time, it took us 3 hours from manila, excluding the stop-overs and 150km distance and 3 toll ways.

Different Light Setup

Finally I got a chance to test some light setup and the huge 75 inch parabolic with 2 YN-560iii. I'd had some problem because I only have one light stand. But it just amazing what you can do to be creative. I used the tripod as a stand because the holder has a screw in for the tripod. I tried the following light setup, 1st the clamp shell, 2nd 2 light ratio, 3rd light above the head, 4th one light with a white reflector and 5th 2 flash on the parabolic to maximize it.

1:2 Ratio Setup. On my mom's left at 45 degree parabolic main light and right 45 degree softbox

Light Above the Head. On my mom's left at 45 degree a parabolic main light and on top a soft box. My mom's hair is so white!
